Quick history and architecture of St Johns AZ

We made it to St Johns, AZ.  We are here for a week. I'm connected via Star Link and working during our stay.

The town has a population of about 3400 people.  It is the County Seat of Apache County and has been nearly as long as the town has been in existence.  The town got its start in the mid-1860s and was officially founded in 1879, but wasn't incorporated as a city until 1946.  Until digging into the history of St Johns, I did not realize that counties were established by the territorial legislature long before Arizona became a state.

Our video provides a brief history of the town and showcases the architecture you see in St Johns.
